Meet Dr. Chris Mersinger
Illinois Native Dr. Chris Mersinger has been practicing chiropractic for more than 20 years. His career as a chiropractor began during his junior year at Louisiana State University (LSU). Following a baseball-induced shoulder injury, Dr. Mersinger was seen by a medical doctor and began physical therapy. With minimal results, he ended up in the hands of a local chiropractor. Dr. Mersinger was no longer in pain and almost fully healed after one appointment.
From that point on, Dr. Mersinger knew he wanted to become a chiropractor. He graduated from Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, Texas in 2000.
Since then, Dr. Mersinger has helped many men, women, and children of all ages live happier, healthier lives, and he continues to do so through DuPage Pain Management, Ltd. today.
Academic & Professional Achievements
Dr. Mersinger graduated from LSU with his Bachelor of Science, Pre-Med and Bachelor of Science, Business Administration. He went on to complete his education at Parker College of Chiropractic, where he obtained his Bachelor of Science, Anatomy and Doctor of Chiropractic degrees.
Along with his undergraduate and graduate degrees, Dr. Mersinger is also a member of the American Chiropractic Association, Illinois Chiropractic Society, Parker Research Foundation, Willowbrook/Burr Ridge Chamber of Commerce, and Hinsdale Chamber of Commerce. He is also a diplomate of the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners.
Continued Education
Learning is important to Dr. Mersinger. His education did not end at Parker College of Chiropractic. In addition to completing over 271 hours of Advanced Radiological Imaging, he has participated in several specialty courses. These courses covered topics such as care for whiplash, headaches, orthopedic issues, and neurological obstacles. Dr. Mersinger still regularly attends varied chiropractic seminars.

Outside the Practice
When he is not busy at DuPage Pain Management, Ltd., Dr. Mersinger enjoys spending time with his wife and four children. He is also heavily involved in the community, acting as Guest Speaker for Willowbrook schools, business, and service (police and fire) departments. Dr. Mersinger also performs scoliosis and blood pressure screenings for health clubs, health fairs, schools, and industries.
